Slovakia 100 Korún Banknote – Madonna of Levoca & St. Jacob’s Church (2004 Issue)
Pick# 44a | TBB# 406 | Numista Ref. N#204603
Issued by the National Bank of Slovakia during the final decade of the Slovak koruna, the 100 Korún note celebrates the Gothic artistry of Master Pavol of Levoca. Its design centres on the famed Madonna carving from the Altar of Birth, paired with architectural landmarks from the historic town of Levoca. As part of the 1996–2004 paper series, this note represents Slovakia’s cultural heritage shortly before the transition to the euro in 2009.
